Community Infrastructure Partners (CIP) successfully completes construction oversight for Stormwater Investment Group, LLC (SIG). The work was part of SIG’s Emergency Contract with Westchester County Department of Environmental Facilities’, at their Brockway Place Trash Transfer Station (Station). Like many active industrial sites, the Station needed to implement Stormwater Control Measures (SCM) improvements that address stormwater quality during varying rainfall durations and intensities.

“As public and private entities struggle with aging and inadequate infrastructure, they deserve more than short-term, quick fixes that won’t last,” said Pete Littleton, Chief Operations Officer, Community Infrastructure Partners. “We were eager to help support SIG to implement improvements for the Station’s infrastructure and seize the opportunity to collaborate with local agencies, and the private sector to quickly execute sustainable corrective measures for the long term,” Littleton said.

The project broke ground beginning of March 2023 and was completed prior to the March 31, 2023, mandated deadline. CIP worked with all of SIG’s delivery and service providers to ensure that construction met the Emergency Contract and the Counties’ requirements.
